Mrs. Mary Jane Robinson, who leaves 6 children, died last week in Bronson, Texas, at her daughter's, Mrs. Lightfoot. She was 86 years old. She was the mother of J. T. Lightfoot, A. T. Smith, Greenville, Mr. J. I. Robinson, Irondale, Missouri, G. W. Robinson, Eldorado, Oklahoma, Mr. J. T. Hornsey, and J. C. Hornsey, Aldnta, Texas.
Grandma (as we have always been delighted to call her) was born in Kentucky on 30 October 1824 and moved to Crawford County, Missouri with her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Jamison when a small girl. At 19, she married Mark Hornsey, to them 5 children were born, 2 sons and 3 daughters and in 1853 she was left a widow by the death of her husband. In the fall of 1857, she married Mr. John Robinson who died in 1862. To them were born 4 children, 1 son and 3 daughters. She became the stepmother of 7 children. She died 7 January 1909.
