Thomas Archiebald Holden was named after his uncle Thomas Archiebald Burke, brother of Sarah Burke.Archie had to give up his paint store during the depression.
Obituaries
Burial Today (Picture) Officers and members of Progress Lodge No. 39, Knights of Pythias, attended service for Thomas A. Holden 53, of 267 Pine Street, today. Services were held at Sacred Heart Church. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, with McDowell and Monteverde in charge. Mr. Holden, who had been a member of the lodge 20 years, died at his home Sunday.
HOLDEN - At residence 267 Pine St. Sunday morning March 9, 1930 at 9:20 o'clock, Thomas A., Husband of Mrs. Pauline Spieler Holden aged 53 years, father of Mrs. Alita Holden Reckenbecker; Brother of Mrs. Alice Brent of Vicksburg, Miss, and David Holden of Chicago, Ill, uncle of J.W. Nehls. Funeral will take place at 9 o'clock. Friend invited, Internment in Calvary Cemetery, McDowell and Monteverde directors. (Vicksburg, Miss and El Paso, Texas, papers please copy)

Knights of Pythias to Attend Services for Decorator
Funeral services for Thomas A. Holden 53, of 267 Pine Street, will be at 9:30 o'clock this morning at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, in charge of McDowell and Monteverde. Members and officers of Progress Lodge No. 39, Knights of Pythias, of which Mr. Holden had been a member for 20 years, will attend the service in a body. Mr. Holden, who had been a painter and interior decorator here, was a native of Vicksburg, Miss. He had been ill five months. In addition to the Knights of Pythias, he was a member of the Elks. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pauline Spieler Holden; one daughter, Mrs. Alita Holden Reckenbecker, Memphis; one sister, Mrs. Alice Brent, Vicksburg, a brother, David Holden, Chicago, and a nephew, J.W. Nehls, Memphis.
