- Andrew J. Jamison's marriage to Browning may not be his first. Mrs Jamison was the widow of Isaac Browning of Logan County, Kentucky who left her with three children: Joel, Joshua and Elizabeth.

Andrew settled in Hopkins County, Kentucky for a while, but he does not appear in any records after 1840.
Andrew owned property in Bellview Township, near Iron or Washington Counties in Missouri, and is buried on his family farm which is now called the Swinford Farm, possibly off of Highway 21 and Highway 32. John Jamison was paid $111.18 for putting up headstone for Andrew Jamison and two head and foot stones for two of Andrew's children.

Woods, administrator of Andrew Jamison, deceased, the sum of One Hundred Eleven Dollars and 18 cents ($111.18) for cutting and putting up monument and two sets of head and foot stones for children of said deceased this 16th day of January 1844. He also owned 16 slaves when he died. They were sold at public sale January 1, 1841 for the amount of $6,669.00.
